Abingdon Traffic

The Lib Dems are re-launching their campaign for investment in the local road network in and around Abingdon to reduce the need for so much traffic to drive through the town centre. This follows recent meetings of both the Vale and County Councils where Conservative councillors voted down Lib Dem proposals to progress the full diamond interchange junction at Lodge Hill.

We call on local councils to deliver a full interchange at Lodge Hill, reinstate plans for a second river crossing and review town centre traffic problems.
