The Conservative-run County Council is considering big cuts to all subsidised bus services. The no 17, which serves Wolvercote, Cutteslowe and Jericho, is under threat.
“This is a vital service for people who live some distance from any other bus service, many of whom are elderly,” said County Councillor Jean Fooks.
“We ask that this service is maintained at the present frequency as a lifeline to people in many parts of North Oxford and Jericho.”
I/we the undersigned call on the County Council to protect the subsidy on this important local service.
