Pat Lonergan has a strong reputation as an enthusiastic, effective and pro-active local councilor.
He has lived in Abingdon for 39 years and has been a local councillor for 12 years, including mayor in 2008/09.
On the Town Council Pat helped establish the web site and has been a long-standing member of the County Hall Museum Management Committee.
He has worked hard to keep in touch with you via regular Focus leaflets and resident surveys and can often be seen out and about around the ward.
He is no stranger to getting stuck in to help the local environment, as the photo shows and he was an early investor in the Abingdon Hydro and its chairman.
He is also the treasurer of the North East Abingdon Community Association.
Pat is a regular churchgoer and a keen walker and past chairman of the Oxfordshire Area of the Ramblers.
