On #FightRacism Day, Liberal Democrats will always stand up against racism and intolerant attitudes.Layla Moran has marked the United Nations’ International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. This year’s theme for the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination is “Youth standing up against racism”.

Young people were at the forefront of the Black Lives Matter protests following the death of George Floyd in the United States. Layla said “we still have much more to do” on racial injustice, marking the United Nations’ International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

“I am incredibly disappointed by Matt Hancock’s response. Flooding has already displaced thousands from their homes, with more likely to be displaced in coming days.
